Any substantial amount of snow in the Seattle area is a big deal. As soon as the snow starts sticking people start throwing around the terms snowmageddon and snowpocalypse, it's pretty amusing and silly.
Whenever I see the first few flakes fall, I am instantly drawn towards flannel. Love it. So comfy, wintery, and woodsy. My sister said I looked like a lumberjack's dream in this outfit. Best.compliment.ever.
So back to the snow, it is really pretty and I am loving it. I especially appreciate how peaceful and quiet it is, with only a few birds chirping in the distance. Tim and I went for an amazingly beautiful walk today down to the river trail and froze our noses off, but it was totally worth it.
Back to work tomorrow after a killer three-day weekend. Hope everyone had a great weekend and Monday :)

I LOVE this adorable jumper! Also, your snow pictures are so pretty! (and that means a lot because as a Coloradoan, I have grown to loathe the snow!) ;-)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, having grown up in Colorado, I'm not too fond of the snow either! haha
DeleteYou look very cute AND comfy! My friends in Seattle were freaking out over the snow haha

This dress is absolutely adorable and I love the way you've "winterized" it. It always amuses me when people who are used to snow (like the people here in Pittsburgh) freak out as soon as there is 2" on the ground. Anyway! I'm now following and hope you'll stop by some time and say hi :)

Oh my gosh, this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWay to remix like crazy. I have so much trouble making dresses look nice with things either under or over them without looking lumpy or frumpy..maybe i'm pairing the wrong things :(
You look so great :)
We have so much snow here too, so i feel the love/pain.
:)
I really like the cut of this herringbone dress - it fits you very well! And I dig the checked flannel, too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I made 2 purse clutches and I'm giving away one of them - you can pick which size you like! Check it out here!
really cute dress! love the back!
