For how obsessed I am with this statement necklace I am not sure why I don't wear it more often. It is so unique and eclectic, making any not-so-interesting or casual outfit a little more special. When throwing on this chambray top and black skinnies, I knew it would do the trick! My favorite part is the blue and coral gems and the pretty silk wrapped beads.

Do you ever have on of those weekend days where you are literally running errands all day, and upon getting home finally, you wonder how said errands took so long?!? Well, yesterday I had one of those days. I left home around 2pm and didn't get home till about 9 o'clock in the evening! I was pooped!

Thankfully, I took these photos at the beginning of the day and not at the end...or you would all be enjoying some photos of me laying on the couch, with wrinkled clothes and a sandwich in my hand.

Green Thumb

Thought I would finally share some photos of the things I planted for our little patio garden a few weeks ago! African Daisies, Strawberries, Sweet Peas and various other flowers. I especially can not wait till the summer when I can pick some of the fresh strawberries....yummy!

We hope to slowly add some more plants and patio items, so it doesn't look so bare and looks a bit more colorful, but this is a good start, that definitely makes me happy!

Someday my dream is to have a house (totally am not meant to be a lifetime apartment dweller) with a big back yard where I can have a huge garden that a large portion of our fruits and veggies will come from. Also, to have a little chicken coop for yummy eggs and a pygmy goat for fresh milk....ohhh and because they are so darn cute and wonderful pets :)

Since we won't be able to make it to the tulip festival this year, I figured this pretty little patch in our local park would have to do. I actually wasn't even expecting to see this there, so it was such a nice surprise while Tim and I were on our little stroll. The weather this weekend has been amazing. While at the park, I so wanted to just lay down in the soft green grass and stare up at the pretty blue sky and the puffy clouds.....but the grass hasn't full dried out yet, and probably won't till July. Bummer.

How has everyones weekend been so far?! Just amazing I hope!!! :)

Due to all this nice spring weather lately, I am definitely feeling the urge to wear less clothing on my lower half.  These shorts are all so cute! I especially love the mint pair and the ever popular Citizens of Humanity floral shorts. I will have one of each, please :)

If someone would have compared me to an Easter egg while wearing this outfit, I wouldn't have been upset one bit. Who doesn't like tasty food covered in pretty colors?!? Also, I am not completely sure if my tights are blue or lavender-ish, all I know is that they were on clearance at Target for a dollar....which obviously makes me super happy.

While at the park taking these photos, I found the arch of balloons and used them as my own personal prop. Thanks, whoever left them there!

Sooooo, how has everyones weekend been?!?! Great, I hope! Yesterday me and the hubs spent some quality time together eating large quantities of Cadbury Eggs and chocolate easter bunnies. Then, I planted some things for our little patio garden. It was so much fun and I can't wait to plant some more! Today we meet up with my parents for lunch, yum :)

Can you spot the unusual in these photos?!? I am actually carrying a purse!

As you may remember me mentioning in previous posts, I am not much of a purse person.

I had one small cross body that I had been using everyday for a year and a half. So small in fact, that I couldn't carry my wallet, cell phone and keys in it all at the same time while keeping it closed. Sort of ridiculous, I know.

So lately, I have been wishing and dreaming of getting a nice structured, vintage inspired purse from Fossil.....that I can actually fit all my crap in. Well, as I was hopelessly looking through Ross the other day, I spotted this baby for only 60 bucks. Crazy right?! I thought that April Fools may have came early this year, and an employee was going to jump out of the purse rack, point & laugh and annoyingly say, "April Fools".

This didn't happen, so I bought it.
