Photo overload, I know....but all the beautiful fall colors left it so hard to pick just a few and the fact that I am sort of obsessed with this outfit didn't help either. In my last post, I had mentioned that I finally purchased the burgundy pants from H&M that I had been lusting over.....well here they are. I have been spotting these pants all over the blogosphere and just had to get my hands on some. I didn't know it was possible to have this much love for a pair of pants. So much in fact, that they didn't even have my correct size, so I opted to buy a size too large, because I wanted them that much. haha

I loved the idea of pairing the burgundy with soft pink and lace, faux leather and of course a little vintage flare with the cameo necklace.

It was my sweet hubs Birthday yesterday!! We started out the day with a yummy birthday breakfast of Spiced Pumpkin Pancakes, then later we hung out with some of his close friends and went to our favorite Thai place in our favorite neighborhood (Capitol Hill). After we ate, we all went for a nice walk around around the neighborhood and popped into a few shops. We then all headed back to our place, where we had mini chocolate cupcakes, the guys played video games and I discovered my love for hard cider! haha

Specifically Samuel Smith's Organice Cider. So delish. I totally have a new favorite drink.

Not sure why I had never tried hard ciders before, boy was I missing out! :)

Also, remember back when I hosted the baby shower a few months ago for my brother and his wife?! Well they had their baby boy today!! So happy for them and can't wait to meet the precious little guy. So excited to be his Aunt Lizzie!!

Recently I was contacted by Sugarlips with an exciting opportunity, to be apart of their blogger partnership program! Each of their pieces are not only amazingly adorable, but also super affordable.  After browsing their site, I instantly knew what item I would love to have and style, so you could image my joy upon opening the package and seeing this very dress! 

I am crazy about the subtle sweetheart neckline, adorable print, color and the perfectly ruched bodice. I decided to add some unconventional layering by wearing a lace top under the strapless dress. This is a look I have been dying to try, and I am so glad I did! I love how it turned out.

I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! For us, Saturday was packed with family and some of our favorite friends. We went out with my brother and wife for the most delish brunch and then later in the day a few friends came over for a little shindig. Today we are catching up on a few things, relaxing and trying to enjoy this amazing weather we have been having in Seattle lately. Such a relief from all the rain!

Has this scenario ever happened to any of you?

The weather is okay as you look out the window a few minutes before leaving to take blog photos and then right as you are walking out the door, it starts raining cats and dogs!

Obviously, the rain stopped..... 5 hours later. The wind didn't.

Anyways, I still can't really get enough of this fabulous mint color. Especially paired with pink. It sort of reminds me of sherbet or cotton candy. Are there any colors you guys can't seem to get enough of lately?

Sooooo, I hope every one is having a wonderful weekend! Mine has been just great thus far! The hubs got a bonus at work and decided to treat us to Sushi and then bought me some pretties at Anthro & Free People. He sure knows how to treat his lady :)

If someone would have compared me to an Easter egg while wearing this outfit, I wouldn't have been upset one bit. Who doesn't like tasty food covered in pretty colors?!? Also, I am not completely sure if my tights are blue or lavender-ish, all I know is that they were on clearance at Target for a dollar....which obviously makes me super happy.

While at the park taking these photos, I found the arch of balloons and used them as my own personal prop. Thanks, whoever left them there!

Sooooo, how has everyones weekend been?!?! Great, I hope! Yesterday me and the hubs spent some quality time together eating large quantities of Cadbury Eggs and chocolate easter bunnies. Then, I planted some things for our little patio garden. It was so much fun and I can't wait to plant some more! Today we meet up with my parents for lunch, yum :)

I've been really wanting to remix these floral shorts for the winter, but didn't think I had anything to pair them with...buttttt then I remember I had this super, duper comfy and soft pale pink sweater in my closet I got a few months ago, that I hadn't even worn yet! Silly me. 

I felt totally chill in this outfit; perfect for strolling through the park, that coincidentally, was the same park where I took the photos the first time I wore these shorts. Weird.

If you remember back to this post, I was soooo excited to finally have spotted the little trees in the colorful knits, so you can imagine my utter excited and joy when I saw these huge trees wrapped up all pretty!! I love it!!

Hope everyone is having a good day, it's the weekend, people! Yay! My day has consisted of spending some much needed time with my guy and going out for yummy chinese at our favorite spot. Also, enjoying the most delish Coconut Pearl Milk Tea. Ever. Yummm.

Firstly, this weekend has been so unseasonably warm and unbelievably beautiful!

It has been in the mid to high 50's...so spring like...if only this weather would stick around *sigh*.

What has everyone been up to for their weekend?! My parents came up to visit us, which is always such a fun time! We went out for yummy Japanese food and then had the.most.DELISH.cupcakes.ever! 

I don't know if cupcakes are still "cool", but if you ever are in the area, you must try one! 

Secondly, look...I am wearing pants!! I don't think this has happened on here since this post.

I had really been jonesin' for some dark denim with a slight flare, and even though jeans aren't my fav to wear, I must admit I did need a nice pair. 

Thirdly, I am sort of obsessed with my new blouse. Upon purchasing it online, I had no idea that the pattern was little butterflies, what a cute surpise :) Also, I am totally loving the pastel color combo thing, and what better way to sport it then on such a springy-winter day?!
